ATTENTION: 12U - 2010 Birth Year Players!!!

Coach Joey Campisano and Coach Andrew Yasenchock will be attending our Toms River Blackhawks 12U practices on the following nights to run a small checking and body contact clinic with the 2010 birth year players who will be moving up to the 14U age level next season. These clinics will help players understand the objective of a body check, which is to separate the player from the puck. Skills such as angling, stick on puck, and proper contact and checking methods will be taught as a priority. They will also teach players techniques on receiving a check and minimizing potential situations where an injury can occur.

• Thursday, January 26th @ 7:15pm to 8:15pm (Indoor Rink)

• Tuesday, February 7th @ 7:15pm to 8:15pm (Indoor Rink)

Coach Joey and Coach Andrew will work with the 2010 birth year 12U players on one end of the ice surface while the 12U Coaching Staff works with the 2011 birth year 12U players on the rest of the ice surface.
